Sheila Hawkins, owner of S. J. Hawkins & Associates, is a Certified BSW Coach specializing in working with those who have experienced domestic/interpersonal violence and sexual assault. Hawkins leads BSW’s sexual trauma and domestic/interpersonal violence training and provides coaching sessions to those who have experienced that impact in their lives.
Ms. Hawkins has a human resources and project management background with a professional history in corporate organizations and activist-based, human services non-profit organizations serving women, young girls and the community at large. Her work with organizations over the years has addressed disparities experienced by those considered to be at risk, challenges in family relationships, and working with individuals, parents and children to address the increase in interpersonal/domestic violence.
Hawkins continues to focus on working in partnership with local and national organizations, communities, women owned businesses and those in leadership to serve individuals and affect community change.
