Teen Mentors

BSW Community Grown Heroes contracts teens to provide peer mentoring services to its clients. While we make every effort to vet our teen mentors, due to the laws protecting the privacy of minors, a complete background check is not possible. Due to the potentially sensitive nature of the mentorship relationship, clients and their parents, guardians, and caregivers are urged to exercise their own judgment in supervising BSW Community Grown Heroes mentor, including their relationship with their mentees.

Additionally, BSW Community Grown Heroes takes the privacy of its mentors and mentees seriously and does not release any information relating to its mentors or mentees to clients , their parents, guardians, or family members, other mentors or mentees, and/or third parties without a court order or unless otherwise required by law.
